Steward Baylor

Steward Baylor, who turns 18 only four days before Enduro X, has been crushing the competition in both the GNCC Series (XC2), where he’s the defending champ, and as a rookie in the AMA/Rekluse National Enduro series. The man-child, at 6-ft. 1-in. and 215 pounds, is mature and confident beyond his years and seems to squeeze every last pony from the engine of his KTM 250 two-stroke. However, at Enduro X, two things will be working against Steward’s chances of earning a medal: First, he’s never competed in an EnduroCross race in his life; second, he injured the scaphoid bone of his right wrist on May 13 and had surgery. He’s still planning on competing.
